The advantage of a peanut feeder is that birds don't take whole nuts and fly away with them. The mesh is designed so that birds can sit and peck out small pieces from the peanuts on the spot.

The waste is reduced, and since peanuts are expensive and imported from far away, it's good to make the most of them in an efficient way.

This feeder in the Ring-pull series features the usual easy snap-lock at the bottom, making cleaning easier. Since it's a mesh, cleaning isn't as urgent as it would be with a solid plastic tube feeder...

The tube is 18 cm tall, with mesh and a metal hanger. The lid and bottom are made of green plastic.

The feeder holds 0.5 liters of organic peanuts.
